Busan City Promotes Technology Capability Enhancement Project for 'Bio-Anti-Aging Companies'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jonghyo] Busan City announced on the 17th that it will promote the '2020 Bio-Antiaging Industry Development Project' targeting bio-antiaging industry-related companies in the region.
This project aims to foster the bio-antiaging industry and revitalize the local economy, establish and support a one-stop service platform for products and commercialization, and build an organic information exchange network among industry, academia, research institutes, and government.
The city supports prototype production and product upgrades (10 cases), design, promotional materials, and intellectual property registration (20 cases). Also, for the first time this year, it plans to enhance the project planning capabilities of small and medium-sized enterprises through support for research and development (R&D) project planning research groups (5 cases).
This project is open to companies that have bio-antiaging related business sites in the Busan area or are located in the region. The executing agency, Busan Technopark, will accept applications until the 31st. For more details, please check the Busan Technopark website.

A Busan City official said, "Through this project, we hope to strengthen the foundation of local companies related to the bio-antiaging industry and provide an opportunity for companies to grow further," adding, "Next year, we will continue to expand customized support for our city’s companies through ongoing project promotion."
