Analysis of Shincheonji Believer List Secured Through Administrative Investigation: "No Significant Difference from Previous Data"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyung-min] As a result of analyzing the list of believers secured through an administrative investigation against Shincheonji Church of Jesus (Shincheonji), the government confirmed that there was little difference from the list initially submitted by Shincheonji.
On the 17th, according to the prosecution, forensic personnel from the Supreme Prosecutors' Office dispatched to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters (CDSCH) confirmed this fact while supporting data analysis.
The prosecution believes that suspicions such as intentional omission of believers from the list have been somewhat resolved based on the analysis results. However, it is reported that the amount of data secured through the administrative investigation, beyond the believers' list, is vast, and they continue to assist CDSCH's analysis work.
