On the 17th, Gyeongbuk Province announced that A (91), a COVID-19 patient receiving treatment at Gimcheon Medical Center, passed away at 7:56 p.m. on the 16th.
A was tested in a full COVID-19 screening conducted on the 5th at Jeil Silver Welfare Center in Gyeongsan, where a recent cluster infection occurred, and was confirmed positive two days later on the 7th.
