[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Inha University and Incheon Smart City Co., Ltd. have joined hands to create a smart city.
Inha University's ABBI (Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Big Data, Internet of Things) Convergence Research Group recently held an industry-academia cooperation agreement ceremony with Incheon Smart City and announced on the 17th that they will work together to develop Incheon into a smart city.
A smart city is a sustainable city that provides various services to enhance urban competitiveness and quality of life based on urban infrastructure that integrates construction and information and communication technologies.
The ABBI research group will collaborate with Incheon Smart City to create a smart ecosystem incorporating technologies needed by the local community and jointly discover public and private research projects that citizens can experience firsthand.
Incheon Smart City is an organization that creates smart city models linking public and private systems and continuously discovers service models. It also aims to export domestic smart city construction know-how to overseas cities.
