Busan Office of Education Develops 'Online Home Study' for Specialized High School Vocational Subjects
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jonghyo] The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 17th that it has developed an online home study site for specialized subjects to minimize the learning gap in specialized subjects for students of vocational high schools in the region.
This site was created to allow students from 37 schools, including specialized high schools, Meister high schools, and technical high schools in the Busan area, to study specialized subjects during home study periods. It provides grade- and level-specific textbooks and videos for practical subjects based on the National Competency Standards (NCS).
Additionally, to enable systematic learning of specialized subjects, the content is divided into 15 subject groups comprising 1,400 learning modules. Teachers in charge can manage students' learning progress daily through SNS.
