Hurom, 'Hurom Easy' Juice Extractor Wins iF Design Award Main Prize
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] Hurom announced on the 17th that its 'Hurom Easy' juice extractor won the main prize at the German '2020 iF Design Award.'
The awarded Hurom Easy product received praise for its wide feeding chute, automatic cutting technology with a new cutting blade, and minimalist design.
Equipped with a 136mm feeding chute and a 2ℓ capacity hopper, it allows whole vegetables and fruits such as carrots and apples to be juiced without cutting. Additionally, a sturdy cutting blade is installed at the bottom of the hopper, enabling users to simply press a button after placing whole ingredients to easily make healthy juice.
The iF Design Award is a globally prestigious design competition with a 67-year tradition. Organized by the International Design Forum, it comprehensively evaluates design innovation, aesthetics, usability, and user value. This year, 7,298 entries from 56 countries competed for the award.
