Yeonggwang-gun 'Agricultural Machinery Rental Office Permanent Duty System' Operation
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeon Seong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Jun-seong) announced on the 16th that it will operate the Agricultural Machinery Rental Center on a full-time basis from the 2nd to June 30th to coincide with the busy farming season.
During this full-time operation period, the Agricultural Machinery Rental Center will advance its working hours by one hour, operating from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the main office will operate normally on all holidays, while the northern and southern branches will operate normally on holidays except Sundays.
In particular, considering that farming schedules have been advancing recently and the dependence on rented agricultural machinery has been increasing, the operation period has been moved up by one month compared to last year to ensure no disruption to farming schedules.
The county expects this to greatly contribute to reducing agricultural management costs for farming households.
Additionally, to prepare for unavoidable safety accidents, comprehensive insurance has been subscribed for all rental agricultural machinery, and repair inspections have been completed.
In the future, additional agricultural machinery needed by farmers will be procured to further activate the agricultural machinery rental business.
