40s Woman Arrested for Beating to Death Her Intellectually Disabled Biological Daughter with a Bat

On the 16th, the Jangheung Police Station in Jeonnam announced that they had applied for an arrest warrant for A (44) on charges of causing death by injury after beating her daughter with a blunt weapon.
A is accused of repeatedly hitting her biological daughter B (22) with a blunt weapon at their home in Jangheung-gun around 3:30 p.m. on the 14th, causing her death.
It was investigated that A committed this act in a fit of anger because B "did not listen well" while A was teaching her Korean language studies.
During the police investigation, A reportedly stated, "My daughter has an intellectual disability. I punished her physically because she did not follow the education well."
The police are specifically verifying whether the deceased daughter B had a disability and are also checking if there are any signs that A had abused B in the past.
