KB Kookmin Bank Temporarily Closes Sosa and Daegu Yongsan Branches... Resumes Operations on the 30th
[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 16th that it will resume operations on the 30th of this month after temporarily closing its Sosa Branch located in Bucheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, and Daegu Yongsan Branch located in Daegu Metropolitan City. Customers were informed of the related details via text messages and other means.
On the 12th, an employee from another company who tested positive for COVID-19 was confirmed in the building housing the KB Kookmin Bank Sosa Branch, prompting an emergency disinfection of the entire building. Additionally, part of the building will be under cohort quarantine until the 27th of this month, restricting access.
Accordingly, KB Kookmin Bank will resume operations at the Sosa Branch on the 30th after temporary closure. The Bucheon Comprehensive Financial Center will be operated as an alternative branch to minimize customer inconvenience.
The Daegu Yongsan Branch was temporarily closed after one of its employees tested positive for COVID-19 on the 15th and is scheduled to resume operations on the 30th of this month. The Bonri-dong Comprehensive Financial Center will serve as the alternative branch.
All employees of the Sosa Branch and Daegu Yongsan Branch were placed under 14-day self-quarantine in accordance with government health authority guidelines.
The Daegu Metro Palace Branch and Wonju Comprehensive Financial Center resumed normal operations starting today.
