Gyeongnam Province Recruiting Youth Clubs and Experimental Project Activity Groups
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] Gyeongsangnam-do is recruiting clubs and organizations to participate in the 'Youth Club Activity Support Project' and the 'Youth Project Support Project' to promote participation and exchange among youth in the province.
The Youth Club Activity Support Project is designed to foster youth who actively participate in social activities by discovering various grassroots youth groups and supporting their active participation and relationship building. Groups consisting of four or more youth from Gyeongnam will receive up to 1 million KRW per team for activity expenses.
Last year, there was great response with 100 teams applying for 36 teams recruited, and this year the support will be expanded to 30 teams each in the first and second half of the year.
The Youth Project Support Project supports activities where youth directly attempt to solve various social problems that the local community cannot resolve. Fourteen project teams consisting of five or more youth active in Gyeongnam will receive project funds ranging from 5 million KRW to a maximum of 10 million KRW per team.
Kim Hyun-mi, Head of the Youth Policy Promotion Team of Gyeongsangnam-do, said, "We expect these projects to serve as an opportunity to revitalize youth communities and directly participate in solving local social problems," adding, "We will do our best to create a growth foundation for the youth activity ecosystem in Gyeongnam."
