Seoul Air Quality and Fine Dust Information, Easily Checked on a Map
Integration of Seoul City Air Quality Information and Fine Dust Information Center Website
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] On the 16th, Seoul City announced that it has integrated and revamped the existing Air Environment Information website and the Fine Dust Information Center website to allow easy and quick access to fine dust concentration and air quality information in the Seoul area.
The revamped Air Environment Information website (http://cleanair.seoul.go.kr) features a map-based layout on the main screen that allows users to view Seoul's air quality measurement data and monitoring station locations at a glance. It displays average values for Seoul and measurements by district, enhancing information delivery with a simple and intuitive design.
The site focuses on displaying fine dust and ozone information related to alerts and warnings by autonomous districts, enabling real-time checking of monitoring station locations and air quality measurements by location. It also provides air quality forecasts as well as statistical data based on yearly, monthly, and daily criteria.
Fine dust information can also be checked at a glance. In particular, concentrations of ultrafine dust, ozone, nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, and sulfur dioxide are automatically measured 24 hours a day and disclosed to citizens in real time.
The newly revamped website applies changes in the mobile-centered internet environment, offering a responsive web service that provides the same functions and information on tablets and smartphones as on the PC version. Additionally, the web design reflects the latest trends to improve readability and organizes menus based on citizen interest.
