One More COVID-19 Case Confirmed in Eunpyeong-gu Resident...Total 17 Cases
One Additional Case on the 15th (Female, 80s, Resident of Sinsa 2-dong, Eunpyeong-gu), Family of Guro Call Center Colleague (#7401) Confirmed, Transferred to Seoul Medical Center
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Eunpyeong-gu (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) reported one additional confirmed COVID-19 case on the 15th.
The confirmed patient, Ms. ○○○ (resident of Sinsa 2-dong, Eunpyeong-gu, female, in her 80s), is a family member of a previously confirmed case (#7401). She was under self-quarantine at home from the 9th to the 15th and initially tested negative in the first test. However, due to the need for medical treatment for a pre-existing condition, she was transferred to Sinchon Severance Hospital where a COVID-19 test was conducted, and she was finally confirmed positive at 4 PM on the 15th.
The patient has currently been transferred to Seoul Medical Center, a nationally designated isolation hospital.
