Shinhan Card Launches Comprehensive Club Management Platform 'Udong'

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Shinhan Card announced on the 15th that the in-house venture 'Udong (Uri Donghoe)', which participated as the 4th cohort of the in-house venture incubation program 'I'm Ventures', has launched 'Udong', a comprehensive platform for clubs.
This service allows users to create a club by simply entering information such as the club name, activity area, and activity details. Additional information such as workplace name and photos can be added to promote the club, and features like member recruitment through SNS channels and group chat room support are also provided.
In addition, payments for membership fees and meeting expenses can be made through 'My Remittance', a credit card-based peer-to-peer remittance service. Going forward, Shinhan Card plans to expand its business areas by developing advertising agency services for small and micro businesses related to hobbies, as well as a secondhand marketplace where members can sell and exchange equipment.
Along with Udong, the in-house ventures 'Adventure' and 'StudyPT', which also participated as the 4th cohort of I'm Ventures, are scheduled to open their services sequentially.
Adventure, which will launch the shopping information application 'Before Shopping' at the end of this month, plans to support a service that allows users to obtain shopping information using hashtags. For example, customers interested in limited edition sneakers can find desired products and information by using hashtags like #limitededition and #sneakers.
StudyPT is a service that systematically collects data on mathematics subjects and provides optimized learning solutions tailored to each individual. By combining Shinhan Card's big data and artificial intelligence (AI) expertise with EduBase's problem bank solution capabilities used in public education and educational service providers, it plans to launch a personalized learning material delivery service in June.
