Amid urgent concerns over shortages of frontline personnel and quarantine supplies due to the COVID-19 pandemic, on the 13th, warm news came that cosmetic brand Some By Mi's Ferenbel (CEO Byun Hyung-seok) donated 2,516 hand sanitizers to Jung-gu Office in Seoul.
Recently, at a meeting attended by Jung-gu Council Chairman Jo Young-hoon and Ferenbel CEO Byun Hyung-seok, Chairman Jo shared the difficulties faced by frontline workers and socially vulnerable groups due to the spread of COVID-19. In response, CEO Byun readily offered to donate hand sanitizers, and Chairman Jo recommended delivering them through the district office on the front line of quarantine efforts, leading to the successful donation.
Chairman Jo said, “I am grateful to Ferenbel for their warm donation to the local community during these difficult times. I hope more companies will consider social value in the future.”
CEO Byun also expressed, “I hope that the hand sanitizers prepared to help the local community, though small, convey comfort and encouragement, and that everyone overcomes these challenging times well.”

The donated items will be distributed to neighbors in need through the 15 community centers in Jung-gu, Seoul. Ferenbel is continuing its warm donations by also donating hand sanitizers to Suncheon City in Jeollanam-do.
