Unified Party Chungcheong-Jeju Matchup Confirmed... Kyung Dae-su and Hong Moon-pyo Win Primary
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] The United Future Party has finalized the candidate lineup for the general election in the Chungcheong and Jeju regions. Incumbent lawmakers Kyung Dae-su and Hong Moon-pyo won their respective primaries in Chungbuk's Jeungpyeong·Jincheon·Eumseong and Chungnam's Hongseong·Yesan counties.
The United Future Party announced some of the primary results, including these, on the 14th.
In Jecheon City and Danyang County, Chungbuk, former Liberty Korea Party Chungbuk Provincial Party Chairman Eom Tae-young won the primary, while in Jeungpyeong·Jincheon·Eumseong, Chungbuk, Lawmaker Kyung won. Additionally, in Cheonan City B, Chungnam, Lee Chang-soo, spokesperson for the United Future Party Central Party, won; in Asan City Gap, Chungnam, former National Assembly Health and Welfare Committee Chairman Lee Myung-soo won; in Dangjin City, Chungnam, former lawmaker Kim Dong-wan won; and in Hongseong·Yesan counties, Chungnam, Lawmaker Hong won their respective primaries.
In Yeonsu District Gap, Incheon, former Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority Chairman Kim Jin-yong won the primary, and in Guri City, Gyeonggi, former Liberty Korea Party Guri City Party Committee Chairman Na Tae-geun won. In Wonju City Eul, Gangwon, former lawmaker Lee Kang-hoo won.
