Minsaeng Party "Seat Thieves" VS Ruling Party "Learn Manners First"... Heated Debate Over Proportional Alliance Party
Kim Jeong-hwa's "Spam Mail" Remark... Ruling Party Cancels Delivery of 'Lee Hae-chan Message'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Minsheng Party and the Democratic Party of Korea clashed head-on over the proportional representation coalition party. Minsheng Party criticized the proposal to participate in the proportional representation coalition party as "spam mail," while the Democratic Party retorted, "Learn manners first." Originally, Yoon Ho-jung, Secretary-General of the Democratic Party, was scheduled to meet Kim Jeong-hwa, co-representative of Minsheng Party, on the afternoon of the 13th to request participation in the proportional representation coalition party, but the schedule was canceled.
Co-representative Kim said to reporters right after the Supreme Council meeting that morning, "I don't know if they are bringing me spam mail," adding, "I said I am not interested in the proportional representation coalition party and I know the outcome, but if (Secretary-General Yoon) comes, I plan to state my position in principle."
Co-representative Kim criticized the Democratic Party's participation in the proportional representation coalition party, saying, "The proportional representation coalition party is a pro-Moon coalition party with neither justification nor practical benefit," and pointed out, "It is the satellite party that the Democratic Party criticized as a prank, an illegal method, and regression." He added, "It goes against public sentiment. The ruling party's politics of betrayal should be ashamed," and said, "Today will be the day when the United Future Party and the Democratic Party prove themselves to be no different from each other by even an inch."
Secretary-General Yoon, just before meeting Sim Sang-jung, leader of the Justice Party, in the afternoon, told reporters, "Co-representative Kim has been saying various things since morning, but it is difficult to do politics with someone who needs to learn manners first," sharpening his tone.
