Hyosung ITX Prioritizes Supply of Security Solutions for Call Center Remote Work
[Asia Economy Reporter Park So-yeon] Hyosung's information and communication (IT) affiliate Hyosung ITX announced on the 13th that it will prioritize supplying related security solutions to help call centers strengthen remote work to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
As COVID-19 infections have recently spread in call centers, four companies?Hyosung ITX, Naver Cloud Platform (NCP), Samsung Electronics, and LG Uplus?have decided to jointly provide solutions that enable call center remote work.
Hyosung ITX provides the 'Cloud·Smart Contact Center' solution, which enhances security such as customer personal information protection.
Naver Cloud Platform offers a cloud platform accessible anytime and anywhere, Samsung Electronics supplies mobile devices equipped with a security platform, and LG Uplus provides the communication network.
This solution is planned to be applied to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency's 1339 call center, which handles public consultations related to COVID-19.
Hyosung ITX also stated that it is in discussions to apply security solutions to private company call centers operated by the company to convert them into smart contact centers capable of remote work.

Since the occurrence of domestic COVID-19 confirmed cases, Hyosung ITX has been actively responding to prevent infections in call centers by closely cooperating with the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency and implementing measures such as call center dispersion, spacing out counselor seats, and constant temperature checks.
