According to the province on the 12th, Boseong Group donated 150 million KRW, and the Jeonnam Branch of the Korea Freedom Federation donated 10 million KRW.
At the Boseong Group donation ceremony, Jeonnam Governor Kim Young-rok, Boseong Industry Co., Ltd. CEO Chae Jeong-seop, and Chairman Park Heung-seok of the Gwangju-Jeonnam branch of the Korean Red Cross attended.
At the subsequent donation ceremony of the Jeonnam Branch of the Freedom Federation, Kim Soo-yong, Chairman of the Jeonnam Branch of the Korea Freedom Federation, Ki Young-cheon, Vice Chairman of the Jeonnam Branch, and Roh Dong-il, Chairman of the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea, were present.
The province plans to distribute hygiene products and relief supplies to vulnerable groups such as the disabled, low-income families, the elderly, and children who are easily exposed to infectious diseases through the Korean Red Cross Gwangju-Jeonnam branch with the Boseong Group donation, and through the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea with the Freedom Federation Jeonnam Branch donation, as well as provide medical supplies such as protective suits to medical sites.
