Rural Development Administration Uses Agricultural Machinery for COVID-19 Prevention in Rural Areas
Utilization of SS Technology for Quarantine Support in Deokcheon and Andeok Villages, Wanju-gun, Jeonbuk
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyunjung] On the 12th, the Rural Development Administration launched disinfection activities in rural areas using agricultural spraying machines to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The Rural Human Resources Development Center visited Deokcheon Village and Andeok Village in Guim-myeon, Wanju-gun, Jeonbuk Province, and conducted disinfection using two 'Speed Sprayers' (SS machines, high-performance sprayers) used for orchard spraying.
Deokcheon Village (home to 362 farming households) visited that day is known as a rural health and longevity village, and Andeok Village (home to 141 farming households) is known as a health healing experience village.
