Gyeonggi Urban Corporation Supports Gyeonggi Medical Center with 120 Million Won for Negative Pressure Isolation Room Facility Costs
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation has urgently supported the installation of negative pressure isolation rooms at Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center.
On the 12th, Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation announced that it provided 120 million KRW to cover the installation costs of 8 screen doors and 82 CCTVs necessary for patient isolation and monitoring in the negative pressure isolation rooms at Uijeongbu Hospital, Pocheon Hospital, and Icheon Hospital under Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center.
Jung Il-yong, director of Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center, stated, "With the support from Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation, rapid facility reinforcement has been achieved, which is expected to greatly benefit both patients and the hospital."
Lee Heon-wook, president of Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation, explained, "To revitalize the local economy, which has been stagnating due to the COVID-19 emergency, we plan to strengthen multifaceted social contribution activities that provide practical benefits and assistance to Gyeonggi Province and its residents, including the rapid execution of local finances amounting to 940.6 billion KRW and a 30% reduction in rent for small business owners."
