Shinhan Card "Quarantine Measures Completed, Currently Closed"
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Twenty employees at the Daegu Shinhan Card call center were collectively infected with the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Currently, the call center is closed, and the employees are under self-quarantine.
According to Daegu city on the 12th, 20 employees at the Shinhan Card call center located in Namsan-dong, Jung-gu, were simultaneously confirmed positive for COVID-19. The call center occupies three floors with a total of 244 employees, and the 20 confirmed cases were from one floor.
The building was closed for three days starting from the 26th of last month after it was reported that a confirmed COVID-19 patient had visited Daegu on the 25th, and disinfection measures were carried out. However, an employee responsible for cleaning in the building was additionally confirmed positive, and on the 2nd, the first confirmed case among call center employees was reported, prompting Shinhan Card to conduct COVID-19 tests on all employees.

A Shinhan Card official stated, "Apart from the 20 confirmed cases, all others tested negative in the full inspection," and added, "Disinfection measures for the Daegu call center have been completed, and it is currently closed."
