Emart Family Food Discount Event... Hanwoo Up to 40% Off
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Emart announced on the 12th that it will hold a discount event on family food menus such as Korean beef, live abalone, and fragrant shiitake mushrooms.
During the week-long event, when purchasing Korean beef with the event card, sirloin for grilling is discounted by 30%, and cuts for soup and bulgogi are discounted by 40%. With the discount applied, a family of four (150g per person) can enjoy first-grade Korean beef sirloin for less than 50,000 KRW.
Additionally, live abalone is sold at 8,900 KRW for 5 pieces (approximately 230g per pack). Domestic fragrant shiitake mushrooms (approximately 200g per pack) are sold for 3,980 KRW with a 2,000 KRW discount when Shinsegae points are accumulated.
Furthermore, Gyeonggi rice Koshihikari, known as premium rice, is discounted by 10,000 KRW from 39,900 KRW to 29,900 KRW for 10kg when Shinsegae points are accumulated. All hairtail products are sold at a 20% discount when paid with the Emart e-card.
Purchasing popular Peacock products offers various benefits. Buying both Peacock Chosun Hotel whole kimchi and Peacock meal kit series together grants a 10% discount. Purchasing two or more of the Gosu's Taste products, including Peacock Soonhee's Bindaetteok, allows a 10% discount.
Hairtail flesh, Spanish mackerel flesh, and flatfish flesh, which are difficult to prepare at home, have been deboned and commercialized. Purchasing these products and accumulating Shinsegae points grants a 20% discount.
Choi Hoonhak, Emart’s marketing manager, stated, “We have prepared various events so that the whole family can enjoy spring food together.”
