Korea Housing Construction Association Provides 125 Million Won to Overcome COVID-19 Crisis

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Jiwon] The Korea Housing Construction Association announced on the 11th that it has donated 125 million won to the Korean Red Cross to overcome the crisis caused by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
This donation was jointly raised by nine city and provincial chapters, including the Association Central Office (50 million won), Seoul Chapter (50 million won), Gyeonggi Chapter (10 million won), Gwangju-Jeonnam Chapter (5 million won), Busan Chapter (3 million won), Daejeon-Sejong-Chungnam Chapter (3 million won), Incheon Chapter (1.5 million won), Jeonbuk Chapter (1 million won), Jeju Chapter (1 million won), and Chungbuk Chapter (0.5 million won).
Chairman Park Jaehong said, "I hope this donation will be of some help to the residents of Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions, who are experiencing unprecedented difficulties due to the unexpected infectious disease," and added, "I also thank the medical staff and public officials who are making every effort on the front lines of COVID-19 prevention."
