Jungnang-gu, Community Support Continues to Overcome COVID-19
Support from Catholic Shinnae-dong Church and Myeonmokbon-dong Residents' Autonomous Association

The hearts of ‘Jungnang-gu Catholic Shinnae-dong Church’ and ‘Myeonmokbon-dong Residents' Autonomy Committee,’ who want to overcome COVID-19 together, were relayed to the Jungnang-gu Office.
They received a donation of 10,000 alternative meals (worth 10 million KRW) such as Seolleongtang and Yukgaejang from the Catholic Shinnae-dong Church, and 3 million KRW in cash from the Myeonmokbon-dong Residents' Autonomy Committee, urging to take the lead in overcoming COVID-19.
The district plans to donate the funds and goods received from the Catholic Shinnae-dong Church and Myeonmokbon-dong Residents' Autonomy Committee to the Jungnang-gu Social Welfare Council to be used for projects to overcome COVID-19 within Jungnang-gu.
The donated alternative meals will be distributed to 12 locations, including the Jungnang Senior Welfare Center, and provided to 1,050 elderly living alone who are having difficulty with meals due to the prolonged closure of senior cafeterias. The 3 million KRW donation will be used to purchase hygiene and daily necessities to overcome COVID-19.
