Woori Bank Launches ZeroPayBiz Tagging Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] Woori Bank announced on the 11th that it will launch the ZeroPayBiz Tagging service, which improves user inconvenience when making payments with ZeroPayBiz. ZeroPayBiz is a payment method mainly used by local government and corporate employees as a substitute for corporate cards.
Previously, ZeroPayBiz payments were only possible by accessing the ZeroPayBiz application (app) to present one's own QR code or scan the seller's QR code. The tagging service allows payment by touching the credit card payment terminal, significantly enhancing convenience for both users and sellers.
The ZeroPayBiz tagging service was developed by Woori Bank based on the Woori ZeroPayBiz app, proposed by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. The Rox307 tagging payment terminals will be installed sequentially at affiliated stores.
Existing ZeroPayBiz users can make payments immediately by running the Woori ZeroPayBiz app and logging in easily, then touching their phone to the terminal without any separate application. Currently, the service is only available at stores equipped with tagging payment terminals, but the number of participating stores will be continuously expanded in the future.
