Gwangyang-si Supports Production of KF94 Filter Replaceable Cloth Masks
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Chunsu Kim] On the 10th, Gwangyang City, Jeollanam-do, and the Jeonnam Gwangyang Climate Environment Network announced that they will produce masks and distribute them to elderly people in rural areas to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The masks will be made by Green Leaders using sewing machines, with material costs supported by the Jeonnam Gwangyang Climate Environment Network through the Environmental Conservation Fund project. The cloth masks, which use replaceable KF94 filters, can be reused continuously, reducing waste and lowering costs.
The city plans to produce 300 masks by the 11th and produce 500 masks weekly until April, distributing a total of 2,500 masks to elderly people in rural areas.
