Gwangju Gwangsan-gu Begins Collecting Citizen Opinions to Resolve Downtown Parking Shortage
Survey to be conducted until next month
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangsan District, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Kim Samho) has launched a citizen opinion survey to resolve urban parking difficulties.
According to Gwangsan District on the 10th, the survey, consisting of 53 questions across 8 categories, covers topics such as the current state of parking environments in residential and urban areas, the necessity of parking lot sharing, illegal parking enforcement, parking fees, and proposals for parking policies.
The online survey, which runs until next month, can be accessed through the Gwangsan District website and the app "Gwangsan-ON".
The offline survey, available for participation in 21 neighborhoods, will be open until the end of this month.
A Gwangsan District official said, "We hope many citizens will participate in the survey to help resolve parking difficulties, an essential element for convenient living," adding, "We will carefully analyze the survey results to create and implement parking policies that citizens want and that make them happy."
