JinMatrix Starts Export and Obtains European CE Certification for COVID-19 Diagnostic Kit
‘Neoplex COVID-19’ Completes European CE-IVD Certification
Rapid Testing Within 3 Hours... Increased Efficiency and Convenience for High-Volume Testing
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Jin Matrix announced on the 10th that it has obtained the European CE-IVD certification for its recently developed novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) diagnostic kit, 'Neoplex COVID-19.' Neoplex COVID-19 has secured efficiency and convenience for large-scale testing and significantly reduced the diagnostic time from the previous 6 hours to 3 hours.
Currently, there are two main rapid COVID-19 diagnostic methods worldwide based on the World Health Organization (WHO) recommended standards and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommended standards. Neoplex COVID-19 was designed to meet the requirements of countries around the world by incorporating both the WHO standards recommended by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency and the U.S. CDC guidelines.
While existing COVID-19 diagnostic products required testing with 2 to 3 tubes, Neoplex COVID-19 enables batch testing with a single tube. Additionally, it has been verified to have no cross-reactivity with over 50 other respiratory infection pathogens, eliminating concerns about false positives and further enhancing the accuracy of the test.
