Ministry of SMEs and Startups Introduces 'Citizen Evaluation Group' for 5 R&D Projects
Ongoing Recruitment Starting from the 11th of This Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 10th that it is recruiting an evaluation panel to select research and development (R&D) projects that reflect the public's perspective.
The Ministry's R&D Public Evaluation Panel can be applied for through the Comprehensive Management System for SME Technology Development Projects starting from the 11th of this month. Recruitment will be ongoing without a separate deadline.
Recruitment is for five R&D projects with high policy importance. The public evaluation panel will collaborate with evaluation committee members, mainly experts, who finalize the selection of projects for each business, to monitor the evaluation process and provide opinions on the submitted projects.
In the future, the Ministry plans to review the performance of the public evaluation panel operation and consider expanding it to all Ministry R&D projects.
