Hwasun-gun Launches 'Wearing Cotton Masks' Campaign for Public Officials
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Young-gyun] Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 10th that it will carry out a 'Cloth Mask Wearing Campaign' for public officials amid difficulties in purchasing masks due to the spread of COVID-19.
The county is collaborating with the public officials' union and the public service workers' union to promote the use of washable cloth masks among public officials.
Since people with less face-to-face contact and those who are healthy can sufficiently prevent infection with cloth masks, the campaign aims to allow the elderly and others with relatively weaker immunity to purchase more medical masks.
