Sejong COVID-19 Cases Increase to 10... Infections Confirmed Among Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and Presidential Archives Staff
[Asia Economy Reporter Jusangdon] On the 10th, two additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) were reported in Sejong. Both are men in their 50s residing in Hansol-dong and Bangok-dong; one works at the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, and the other is an employee of the Presidential Archives.
After a Zumba dance instructor was infected, COVID-19 has been spreading in Sejong City as well. The virus is spreading in the order of Zumba students → contacts → contacts' families, originating from the instructor (Sejong case number 2) who attended a Zumba instructor workshop held in Cheonan, Chungnam on the 15th of last month.
According to Sejong City, the 9th and 10th confirmed cases diagnosed on this day are both men in their 50s residing in Hansol-dong and Bangok-dong, respectively. The 9th confirmed case was identified as a Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries employee. The 10th confirmed case is an employee of the Presidential Archives. Following the Ministry of Personnel Management, the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, and the Ministry of Health and Welfare, confirmed COVID-19 cases have now occurred at the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and the Presidential Archives.
