GS Caltex Supports COVID-19 Damage Recovery
[Asia Economy Reporter Park So-yeon] GS Caltex is participating in the national effort to overcome COVID-19 and is actively supporting prompt damage recovery.
On the 10th, GS Caltex announced that it donated 200 million KRW to the National Disaster Relief Association for COVID-19 prevention and damage recovery. This is separate support following the 1 billion KRW donation from the GS Group in February.
This donation will be focused mainly on the severely affected Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions. The GS Caltex executives voluntarily raised funds with the intention of jointly coping with the difficulties caused by the spread of COVID-19, adding significance to the contribution.
The donated funds will be used to support those under self-quarantine and medical staff. Self-quarantined individuals will receive daily necessities and food kits. Medical staff will be provided with "Cheer Up! Health Kits," consisting of fatigue recovery items such as vitamins and red ginseng.
