Promotion of 'Social Distancing' Guidelines and Infectious Disease Prevention Actions for Subway Station Users... Disinfection of Facilities Inside and Outside Changdong Station and Surrounding Areas

Dobong-gu Autonomous Disaster Prevention Team members are conducting a "Social Distancing and Prevention Guidelines Promotion Campaign" at Dobong Station on the 9th.

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dobong-gu (Mayor Dongjin Lee) conducted a "Social Distancing and Prevention Guidelines Promotion Campaign" and disinfection activities around Changdong Station, a high foot traffic area, on the 9th to block community transmission of COVID-19, together with the Dobong-gu Volunteer Disaster Prevention Corps.

This campaign was carried out to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the community caused by small-scale cluster infections. More than 50 members of the Dobong-gu Volunteer Disaster Prevention Corps voluntarily participated to carry out safety and epidemic prevention duties in the area.

On this day, members of the Dobong-gu Volunteer Disaster Prevention Corps disinfected residents' hands with hand sanitizer spray in front of Exit 1 of Changdong Station while promoting COVID-19 prevention behavior guidelines and social distancing practices.

In addition, starting from Changdong Station, they disinfected every corner around the station, including village bus stops and restaurants, using disinfectant sprayers. Inside the station, disinfectant was applied to frequently touched facilities such as transportation card terminals and elevator buttons.

The Volunteer Disaster Prevention Corps will continue to protect the health and safety of residents by conducting weekly campaigns and disinfection activities by district from the 10th to the 27th, focusing on multi-use facilities and vulnerable facilities in each neighborhood, contributing to blocking community transmission of COVID-19 and eliminating blind spots in disinfection.
