According to Pohang City on the 8th, teacher A (26, female) at the POSCO daycare center tested positive for COVID-19.
Although the daycare center was closed, A is known to have worked from the end of last month until the 5th of this month to care for children of some dual-income employees who needed emergency care.
After visiting Daegu, A reportedly commuted to the POSCO daycare center in Nam-gu, Pohang until the 5th, taking care of about 10 children who attended.
In particular, A showed symptoms on the 26th of last month but was confirmed to have gone to nearby hospitals and markets while still going to the daycare center.
Later, on the 7th, after visiting a hospital and having a fever check, A was advised to visit a screening clinic and tested positive.
