Proposals for Old Administrative System, Administrative Services, and Administrative Operation Improvements by June 26... Up to 1 Million KRW Awarded for Creativity and Efficiency Evaluation
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangbuk-gu (District Mayor Park Kyum-soo) is operating the ‘2020 First Half Policy Proposal System’ to discover creative ideas from residents and is accepting submissions until June 26.
The Policy Proposal System is implemented to reflect residents' creative opinions in policies, aiming to improve the quality of administrative services and promote district development. The fields include administrative systems, administrative services, and improvements in administrative operations of Gangbuk-gu.
Those who wish to participate can download the proposal form from the Gangbuk-gu website (http://www.gangbuk.go.kr) under ‘Citizen Participation - Citizen Proposals - Policy Proposal Guide’ and write their opinions. Proposals can be submitted via the ‘Proposal Application’ menu on the website, by email to dookgod6044@gangbuk.go.kr, or by mail/visit to the Planning and Budget Division on the 4th floor of Gangbuk-gu Office.
The district considers ▲creativity ▲efficiency and economy ▲continuity ▲scope of application ▲effort ▲feasibility, and after review by the project promotion department and deliberation by the proposal review committee, decides on adoption and proposal grading. Grades are divided into Best, Excellent, Encouragement, and Effort, with prize money up to 1,000,000 KRW awarded.
Adopted proposals will be actively reflected in district administration and submitted to competitions such as the Central Excellent Proposal Contest.
Additionally, to increase the execution rate of proposals, the district plans to select and reward outstanding departments starting this year.
Last year, 11 proposals were adopted, including ▲Zero Pay Map construction and free mobile service provision ▲disaster response using a smart situation propagation system ▲duty civil service sharing system utilizing big data.
