[Photo] Yongsan-gu Korean Medicine Association Donates 500 Packs of Ssanghwatang to Yongsan-gu Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] The Yongsan-gu Korean Medicine Association (President Kim Ho-seon) donated 500 packets of fatigue recovery medicine (Ssanghwatang) to the Yongsan-gu Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters (District Mayor Seong Jang-hyun) on the 4th.
The items, worth approximately 2 million KRW, were made by local Korean medicine clinics.
President Kim Ho-seon said, "We prepared the fatigue recovery medicine for the district officials who are working tirelessly 24 hours a day for COVID-19 prevention," adding, "The Korean Medicine Association will also do its best to help the situation calm down as soon as possible."
District Mayor Seong Jang-hyun responded, "The donated items will be provided to the staff working at the Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters," and expressed gratitude for the warm kindness.
The Yongsan-gu Medical Association (President Kim Won-gon) is also taking the lead in responding to COVID-19. Since the 2nd, private practitioners affiliated with the Medical Association have been taking turns operating the night (7 PM to 10 PM) screening clinic, one person per day.
They are conducting duties such as examining suspected patients, collecting specimens, and epidemiological investigations. The volunteer period will continue until the situation ends.
