A man in his 70s dies of COVID-19 in Yeongcheon... Total domestic deaths reach 45
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] One confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) has died in Yeongcheon, Gyeongbuk, raising the total number of deaths in the country to 45.
According to Gyeongbuk Province on the 7th, a 77-year-old man residing in Yeongcheon was transported from his home to the hospital by a 119 ambulance in the morning but passed away.
The man showed symptoms such as fever and chills on the 5th, had a specimen collected at the hospital, and then returned home. He was confirmed positive the day before. The man had a pre-existing condition of stroke and was known to have mobility difficulties. His spouse also tested positive.
