At the United Future Party's members' meeting held at the National Assembly main building that day, Floor Leader Shim said, "The ruling party was debating whether to create a proportional satellite party, but now they have changed their stance to a proportional coalition party, which is a trick and a sly move."
He pointed out, "Those who previously criticized the fake satellite party, the Future Korea Party, for sly tactics are now doing the exact same thing," adding, "They are creating a coalition party under the concept of changing forms and forming alliances, where all parties dispatch proportional representatives to that party and then return to their original parties after being elected."
He continued, "The Justice Party was vehemently opposing but yesterday they said they would open discussions with the Min Party, showing a double-sided response by changing their words," and added, "According to media reports, there are also reports that the Democratic Party and the Justice Party divided the seats among themselves."
Floor Leader Shim said, "They even filed complaints with the prosecution against our party, Representative Hwang Kyo-ahn, and Future Korea Party Representative Han Seon-kyo, accusing them of fake satellite parties," and stated, "They show no remorse for what they have done; even now, they should abolish the patchwork election law, sincerely apologize a hundredfold to the people for lying, and admit their mistakes."

After the members' meeting, he met with reporters and spoke about the 'Tada Ban Act (Partial Amendment to the Passenger Transport Service Act)' scheduled for discussion at the plenary session that day, saying, "It is not a Tada ban law but rather the creation of a new platform business sector," and added, "Some say it is a regressive stance in the mobility sector, but that is absolutely not the case, and we have decided to support it as a party policy."
