Kangwon Land Donates 300 Million KRW in COVID-19 Relief Funds to Daegu and Gyeongbuk Regions
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Kangwon Land will donate 300 million won to help the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions, where a cluster infection of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) occurred.
On the 5th, Kangwon Land announced that it decided to donate the funds to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to be used for preventing the spread of infectious diseases in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions and for the stable recovery of those in self-quarantine.
Moon Tae-gon, CEO of Kangwon Land, said, "I hope this will help the patients and their families suffering from the rapid spread of the infectious disease, as well as the medical staff who are devoted on the front lines."

Kangwon Land employees will also conduct an electronic fundraising campaign via mobile until the 13th to support neighbors facing difficulties due to COVID-19. Additionally, they plan to participate in blood donation services in cooperation with the Gangwon-do Blood Center.
