The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced that as of midnight on that day, the number of confirmed domestic cases increased by 438 compared to 4 p.m. the previous day. The additional patients in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions totaled 407, accounting for 92.9% of all new cases.
By region, Daegu had the highest number with 320 cases, followed by Gyeongbuk (87), Gyeonggi (9), Gyeongnam (9), Seoul (4), Chungnam (4), Gangwon (2), Jeju (1), Gwangju (1), Daejeon (1), and Chungbuk (1). Busan saw a decrease of one case compared to the previous day.

The number of recovered patients nearly doubled from the previous day, approaching 100. The number of patients released from isolation was 88, an increase of 47 from the previous day. The death toll rose by 3 during the same period, reaching 35.
