KB Kookmin Card Provides Emergency Support of Masks and Daily Necessities to Multicultural Families in Daegu and Gyeongbuk
600 Multicultural Families, Total of 2,400 People to Receive Support
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] KB Kookmin Card announced on the 5th that it will urgently provide kits containing masks, food, and other daily necessities to multicultural families in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions.
This support was prepared to address the difficulties in purchasing food due to unstable household income caused by the aftermath of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), and the disruption of meal services for children in multicultural families due to the closure of local children's centers.
The kits, consisting of urgently needed daily necessities such as masks, rice, ramen, and gim, will be delivered to 600 multicultural families, totaling 2,400 people, in Daegu and Gyeongbuk through the Multicultural Family Support Center starting next week.
A KB Kookmin Card official stated, "We will do our best to continuously introduce additional support measures that can provide practical help to socially vulnerable groups and marginalized neighbors who are struggling due to COVID-19."
