[Breaking] 4th COVID-19 Case Confirmed in Seongnam... 76-Year-Old Male in Yatap-dong
[Asia Economy (Seongnam) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The fourth confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) has occurred in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.
Seongnam City announced on the 5th that a 76-year-old man living in Yatap-dong, Bundang-gu, tested positive for COVID-19.
The man, who is a cancer patient, visited the emergency room of Bundang Jesaeng Hospital on the 3rd with pneumonia symptoms and underwent a COVID-19 test, the city explained.
The man will be transferred to Bucheon Soonchunhyang University Hospital for isolated treatment. Including this man, a total of four COVID-19 confirmed cases have been reported in the Seongnam area.
The city is currently identifying the detailed movement paths and contacts of the confirmed patient.
