[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Germany increased by 52 in one day.
According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) in Germany as of 10 a.m. local time on the 4th, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reached 240, an increase of 52 from the previous day. The RKI is the equivalent of Korea's Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency.

By state, North Rhine-Westphalia had the highest number with 111 cases, followed by Bavaria (48), Baden-W?rttemberg (44), Hesse (12), Berlin (6), Lower Saxony (4), Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (3), Bremen, Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein (2 each), and Saarland, Saxony, Thuringia (1 each).
