Tongyeong International Music Festival Canceled Due to COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Byung-hee] The Tongyeong International Music Festival has been canceled due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The Tongyeong International Music Foundation announced on the 4th, "Due to the spread of COVID-19 and the government's crisis alert level being raised to the highest level, 'serious,' we have decided to cancel this year's music festival."
The Tongyeong International Music Festival is the largest classical music festival held domestically in the first half of the year. The 2020 Tongyeong International Music Festival, themed "REALITY," was scheduled to take place from March 27 to April 5 in the Tongyeong area of Gyeongnam Province. This year, 363 artists from 23 countries had prepared 26 performances.
