Emart to Sell Largest Ever 'Half-Price Tuna Sashimi' for One Week
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Emart announced on the 4th that it will offer a 360g pack of deep-sea "Assorted Tuna Sashimi" for 14,900 KRW from the 5th to the 11th, a week-long promotion. This price is about half of the average price in January for the same weight (29,800 KRW).
Emart introduced this "Half-Price Tuna Sashimi" to support tuna fishermen who are facing difficulties due to a sharp decline in tuna exports caused by worsening trade relations with Japan and the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). They have prepared a record volume of 35 tons.
