Busan Office of Education Conducts Free Emergency Childcare Service Demand Survey Until the 5th
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Jonghyo] The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 4th that it will conduct a second emergency care demand survey for elementary students by the 5th due to the additional postponement of the school opening and provide free meals and snacks to participating students.
The free emergency care service was planned to alleviate the burden on parents of elementary school children who have to prepare lunchboxes early in the morning and send them to school. The existing care service has provided meals and snacks at the expense of the beneficiaries, except for some students.
After the second emergency care demand survey, the Busan Office of Education will check daily participation status and provide free snacks worth 2,000 to 2,500 KRW and meals worth 6,000 to 8,000 KRW according to the number of participants each day. The free meal and snack provision period is 12 days from the 5th to the 20th.
