Lotte Chilsung Beverage Launches Export-Only 'Soonhari Apple Mango'... Targeting Australia and Southeast Asian Markets
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] Lotte Chilsung Beverage announced on the 4th that it has newly launched the export-only product ‘Soonhari Apple Mango’ and is targeting the Australian and Southeast Asian markets.
Soonhari Apple Mango is the fourth product in the Soonhari export-only series, following ‘Strawberry, Blueberry, and Yogurt.’ The alcohol content is 12%, and the volume is 360ml.
The initial shipment of 135,000 bottles will be exported to Australia, Thailand, Laos, and some other Southeast Asian regions, and will be sold at local large supermarkets and restaurants from mid-month.
In particular, this product was developed at the request of local wholesalers who preferred fruit-flavored alcoholic beverages, in line with the trend among foreign consumers. Lotte Chilsung Beverage conducted local tasting tests and created the optimal recipe that highlights the unique sweet taste of apple mango.
A Lotte Chilsung Beverage official said, “Australia and Southeast Asia are markets where Soonhari’s growth is remarkable,” adding, “Considering the local market characteristics where there is no resistance to new flavors, we have introduced a new fruit-flavored product.”
