Baemin Supports 1,000 'Himnaeyo Daegu' Coupons for Children in Daegu Area
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Baedal Minjok is joining efforts to help the Daegu region overcome the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). Baedal Minjok announced on the 4th that it will provide 1,000 "Cheer Up Daegu" coupons to families in Daegu who are having difficulty securing meals due to school closures.
The beneficiaries total 200 people, and Baemin will send five 10,000 KRW coupons per person via mobile. The coupons can be used like cash when ordering food through the Baemin app. The usage method is to select a menu, enter the coupon code received via text into the discount coupon input field, and place the order. Multiple coupons can be used at once like cash. Notably, neither the restaurant owners nor anyone else can know whether the support coupons have been used when ordering.
