SK Social Enterprise Partners Deliver Snacks to Medical Staff in Daegu, Busan, and Ulsan
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Soyeon] Marine Innovation, a social venture company in the eco-friendly sector, delivered 4,200 pieces of yanggaeng 'Dalharu' to medical staff and Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency officials in Daegu, Busan, and Ulsan, who are struggling against the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) on the 3rd.
Marine Innovation decided to support with the intention of providing a small strength to the medical staff who are dedicated to preventing the spread of COVID-19 and protecting the health of the people.
Yanggaeng 'Dalharu' is a product launched last month by Marine Innovation using seaweed extracts such as Jeju Umutgasari. It carries the meaning of marine life suffering from environmental pollution transforming into yanggaeng to gift a sweet day.
Marine Innovation CEO Cha Wanyeong said, "We thank the medical staff and Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency officials who are doing their best in this national emergency situation," and added, "Marine Innovation will also strive harder to overcome this situation and create a society that works together."
