Daegu Bank Temporarily Closes Three Branches Including Suseong-gu Jisan 1-dong Branch
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] DGB Daegu Bank announced on the 2nd that three additional branches have been temporarily closed due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). Including the existing five branches, the total number of temporarily closed branches is eight.
According to Daegu Bank on the day, the Suseong-gu Jisan 1-dong branch and Jung-gu Daebong-dong branch in Daegu will be closed until the 8th and 10th, respectively. This measure was taken after one employee at each branch tested positive for COVID-19.
Daegu Bank conducted emergency disinfection at the affected branches and placed all branch employees under self-quarantine. During the closure period, banking services will be handled at the Jisan branch and Bongdeok-dong branch, respectively.
Additionally, the Yeongjin Junior College branch in Buk-gu, Daegu, will be closed until the 4th as the Yeongjin Junior College campus has undertaken a full disinfection. During this period, the Dongbuk-ro branch will handle substitute services.
DGB Daegu Bank stated, "We will promptly respond to disinfection at branches confirmed with COVID-19 cases, self-quarantine, and closures to ensure that customers do not experience any inconvenience in banking services."
Daegu Bank is currently temporarily closing the Catholic University Hospital branch, Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital branch, Kyungpook National University Hospital branch, and Daedeok branch.

The bank branch inside Dongsan Medical Center, designated as a COVID-19 base hospital, will remain closed until the situation is resolved.
